THE LOWDOWN

Biere Du Hearts is our collaboration with retail pioneers Blackhearts & Sparrows. We have always spoken about working together in a meaningful way that encompassed our shared values, namely working with age-old processes such as natural fermentations, wild yeast integration, barrel-ageing & pushing the boundaries in general when it comes to making Artisan Ales! Well Biere Du Hearts is the result. Cherry and the team worked closely with us to select a bunch of exclusively 3 year Wild Ales from our barrel stocks which was carefully blended by Costa then infused liberally with Australian fruits such as Passionfruit, Pineapple & Mango. The results are a super tropical yet funky little number!

BREWERS NOTES

Making the Biere Du Hearts with Cherry and the team from Blackhearts & Sparrows was an absolute delight! being able to just get a little crazy on fruiting rates with this collaboration really allowed us to push the boundaries of fruited wild beer in general and took us into another realm of tropical-ness! The timing of this tropical banger heading into Xmas was just ideal for sipping by the pool on a footpath-melting day.. Sante!
