THE LOWDOWN

BIERE DE PROVISION is our original Provision-style Table Beer created for us to enjoy on those pavement-melting days whilst shovelling grain at the brewery. Designed with a low ABV to simply hydrate and refresh and is naturally fermented with our house wild yeast (originally captured from our brewery environment) to give this simple and lighter-style beer a unique level of interest.

Pouring straw coloured and naturally cloudy (courtesy of our 100% bottle refermentation process) with a billowing white fluffy head, the BDP gives strong funk notes of blue cheese and forest floor which then gives way to familiar aromatics of stewed fruits and a kiss of wood. Flavour-wise the BDP is super crisp and super super refreshing to very much quench that thirst after toil.

Our BDP is just that, a super refreshing provision-style wild ale that delivers everything we want from this historical style – easy drinking yet interesting refreshment!
